"I wanted to share a picture I made which reflects how I feel about my mental health before I had counselling from Vine Counselling Services. It felt like I was breaking apart and that pieces of my sanity were falling away leaving me incomplete and afraid that I would never feel whole again. Without the support of Vine Counselling Services I wouldn’t have survived this time and wouldn’t be here today."
The team at Vine Counselling Services are a very special group of people - men and women who are passionate about our core values and ethos; offering professional counselling to people in our community at an affordable rate. We ask for a suggested donation of £25 per session but can sometimes provide sessions at a lower rate as we will not turn anyone away through an inability to pay this amount.
VINE COUNSELLING CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE'S SERVICE is part of Vine Counselling and together we are passionate about our core values and being able to offer affordable counselling to people in our community. The Children and Young People’s Service offers both long and short-term professional counselling to those aged 8 to 18. Due to the high demand for appointments, we are looking to recruit a committed, dynamic and fully qualified Counsellor (Level 4) to join our wonderful team on a voluntary basis. Our designated appointment times run between the hours of 3.30pm and 7.30pm on a Wednesday afternoon/evening, all sessions are face-to-face, a contribution towards Supervision costs is available and full induction/in-house training is provided. Some previous experience of working with children or young people is desirable.
If you would like to find out more about this or other roles within our warm and welcoming team then please do get in touch by emailing Jo Lawrance, CYP Lead, on email@example.com
WHY NOT HELP THE CHARITY WITH STRATEGY, PLANNING AND SUPPORTING THE RUNNING OF THE SERVICE BY BECOMING A TRUSTEE. We are particularly looking for a Trustee to help with grant applications and fundraising initiatives.
Contact Liz Linnitt by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for information about any of these roles.
